NORMAN KEIL
KONZERT
27.04.2024
Norman Keil is no longer an insider tip. He's already an institution. Norman Keil's lyrics go straight to the heart – nothing is concealed, nothing is sugarcoated; Keil sings honestly and bluntly about his own personal experiences. "I don't want to be a fictional character," he says, and he's not afraid to reveal his innermost self on stage, deeply touching the audience. With his disarming style, he's also a successful songwriter: "Perfekt" and "Klassenfahrt," the most successful radio songs by the band "Wingenfelder" (known from "Fury in the Slaughterhouse"), are his work. His songs and lyrics tell stories of everyday life, of dreams, of horizons. These songs take you by the hand and guide you gently through time. The poetry of his lyrics immediately conjures up images in your mind. There's always something new to discover in his songs. Whether introspective or effervescent, each of his songs has charm.
Norman Keil was a long-time member of the band Wingenfelder before touring Germany as a solo artist, supporting acts ranging from Gregor Meyle to Johannes Oerding. Another highlight was his performances with Udo Lindenberg, where Norman Keil played several concerts at sea as part of the program on the Rockliner 4. Unforgettable moments for all who were there.

Claudia sets up pottery
in the snail shell
“Feldspar quartz and mica
I'll never forget that"
Growing up in Stadtlohn, I was fascinated by the craft of pottery even as a child. We would sit with neighborhood children on Hegebrockstrasse, pressed our noses against the windows of Wilhelm Erning's workshop, and watch as a lump of clay was turned into a pottery vessel or as the wares were artistically painted by hand. It quickly became clear that I would pursue a pottery apprenticeship...
Ceramics has accompanied me throughout my professional career ever since. After decades as a ceramics technician and product and brand manager for veneering ceramics in the dental industry, it was reason enough to devote myself more time to pottery. The beginning – "Pottery in the snail shell of the artificial sewage treatment plant."
Together with you, we would like to create a space in the snail shell of the sewage treatment plant for the craft of pottery, which has been known in Stadtlohn for centuries and passed down through generations. One topic will be salt-glazed stoneware, which is ideal for storing fermented vegetables like sauerkraut. Other vegetables can also be preserved using lactic acid fermentation. The vegetables are already being grown in Julian's nature education seminar garden. Various exciting pottery seminars for children and adults are planned for the future. In a creative setting, we will offer courses on wheel-making utility ceramics.
If you would like to experience the launch and commissioning of the pottery wheel live, you should not miss the CREATIVE WEEKS in APRIL 2024.
I'm looking forward to seeing you J, Claudia
